I Love this Font

I love this font!

This is the second week on the Island Princess and I’m still exploring. There are many things on this big ship I haven’t even looked at yet. The theater is one of those rarely looked at places. I’ve been inside on the first day but haven’t returned for a show.

There are display panels around the ship and in front of the theater. Sometimes they advertise things for purchase and other times they are informational.

“It’s all marketing.”

I don’t mind this kind of marketing. Fonts matter. XOXOXO

Another beautiful atrium. Think of it like the ship’s lobby. It’s hard to get pictures because it’s all around you.

The sea, in its calmness, can take on an eerie and mysterious quality. It becomes a captivating force that both mesmerizes and sends shivers down your spine. It’s a reminder of nature’s power and the unknown wonders that lie beneath the surface. As you stand by the tranquil waters, you can’t help but feel a sense of unease, as if something is watching, waiting. Yet, there is also a beauty in this stillness, a serene enchantment that draws you closer. The sea, in all its eeriness, holds secrets and stories untold, inviting you to explore its depths and unravel its mysteries.

“Are you cheating again? That sounds like a machine wrote that.”

Got me again!

There are many ‘sea days’ on the way to our next stop, Pago Pago. On a sea day the Cruise Director’s staff will play games to keep people entertained. People drink a lot too. It’s a sport maybe.

“Or just something they do anyway.”

Harrison Ford is still a star! ⭐️

“I wonder if Harrison Ford is keeping an eye on Bruce Willis. We’re gonna miss him.”

I loved watching Indiana Jones at sunset. Sailing through the South Pacific Ocean felt amazing. The freshest tropical air you can imagine. There’s always a breeze on a cruise ship. You only have to move around a little to find the best spot. I’ve never experienced anything like it. On land you can move a little but you never escape it. On the ship you move through the weather. It feels incredible.

“And the pizza is right behind us. All you want and ice cream too.”

Unreal and real. Very real.

“I really like the Island Princess. It’s been home for a couple weeks now.”

Door decoration is a nice touch.

I see many of the girls only club. It makes it affordable for them.

“I wonder if they have pillow fights?”

I’ve been eating dinner later and later. Now it’s about 8:30 by the time I stroll into the buffet. I love the buffet because the food is great and it seems the old people prefer the dress up for fancy dinners and wine. Let them have that. I’ll take a slice of pizza and a mudslide by the pool any day over snails and rotting grapes.

“They have other things.”

The ship seems mostly empty on my time schedule. Just me and the crew. It feels like it’s all mine. The other people are in the lounges, theater, and fancy restaurants.

Anyways, I’m checking the options tonight. Maybe I’ll start with desert tonight so I look at all the pastries and cakes, hmmm.

I turned around and was face to face with one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Not a foot away, I’m looking into exotic eyes like no other. It was Tiera. You’re beautiful! I’ve been on this boat two weeks now and I haven’t seen you. Where have you been?

‘I’m in the show.’

I thought for a few seconds while I stared into her gorgeous eyes. What show is she referring to? Is she referring to the simulation? Definitely part of that, but she can’t know… Ohhhh! She must be in one of the theater shows I never go to. Just like the fancy dining places I never go to. Quick, no time to be nervous, say something!

So they have you locked up below decks until it’s time to come out and entertain us? That theater only holds 1,000 people. If you need attention, I can give you more than all those people combined!

She smiled at me and said something in French or Portuguese or whatever. I have no idea but her voice is just as sexy as she is, incredible! Wow, some people don’t even seem like they are real. Up close she is stunning. 😍

“So that line worked!?”

“The fitness center is another place you don’t go. Maybe if you spent less time at the buffet that would have worked.”

Olga is pretty hot too, but she doesn’t speak – just dances – according to the playbill. She’s tall and moves gracefully.

I saw her but didn’t talk to her and I didn’t notice the playbill until after I saw them in person.

I’ve heard of some of these shows. They must be pretty popular if I’ve heard of them. There’s a long list and I’ve heard some of the passengers rave. They even wear fancy dresses and some men are wearing Tuxedos. The theater is pretty big so they have devoted a large part of the ship to it. I noticed some passengers have a LOT of luggage. And I’m not just saying that compared to my single carry-on with a couple pair of shorts and t-shirts.

I ran into Wesley in the wheelhouse bar / coffee stop this morning. I had a white chocolate mocha. He was drinking Dewars. Turns out he isn’t as happy as I thought he would be on his 50th anniversary.

“I guess it’s 5 o’clock somewhere. Maybe where he’s from! His name is Wesley?”

Yup. Wesley and Nan. I guess that’s Nancy? He’s praying for death to get away from Nan’s constant complaining and negativity. He wishes it would just end but he hasn’t the guts to throw himself overboard.

“He never said that!”

He did!

With his eyes.

Through the bottom of a whiskey glass at 7:00 A.M.

“He sure is a lot funnier when Nan’s not around.”

When you cross time zones like we do, this becomes less of a joke and more of a statement of fact.
